For the spring season of 2017, we have the following vacancies available:

Education Coordinator: 

  1. Communicate with prospective partners, e.g. schools and other educational institutions

  2. Develop, plan and coordinate educational activities

  3. Arrange for materials to be present

  4. Act, play, teach, activate and inspire the participants throughout all ages

  5. Post-administration, e.g. feedback of the participants and institutions, future collaborations

  6. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our educational program

  7. 10 hours/week at varying times, depending on the workshop schedule, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Human Resources Coordinator:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Look for volunteers and interns

  2. Keep our vacancies up-to-date on various platforms

  3. Keep the volunteer work schedule up-to-date

  4. Arrange the introduction of new volunteers

  5. Receive and assess incoming internship applications

  6. Interview the prospective interns

  7. Communicate between TBYW and the sending institution i.e. the university

  8. Guide the emersion of intern in TBYW

  9. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our human resources

  10. 10 hours/week flexible, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Photographer:

  1. Attend our events and take pictures

  2. Edit photos

  3. Communicate with and report back to social media manager for coverage of our events

  4. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the visualisation  of our work

Catering Coordinator:

  1. Coordinate the volunteer schedule for the ad hoc caterings

  2. Coordinate the ad hoc cooking sessions

  3. Ensure quality of dishes

  4. Attend and serve at catering activities

  5. Promote catering activities

  6. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the Community dinners

  7. 10 hours/week at varying times, depending on the event schedule, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Content Creator for blog and website:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Write blog posts on a weekly a basis on TBYW-relevant themes, e.g. citizen activism, food security, education, environmentalism, cooking etc.

  2. Attend and blog on our events

  3. Interview related projects and write about them

  4. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our online content

  5. 10 hours/week flexible, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Social Impact Researcher:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Collect data for social impact assessment

  2. Analyse current data collection, e.g. incoming and outgoing food, number of visitors, feedback forms

  3. Set up data collection for TBYW’s organic waste and analyse data

  4. Reflect and advise on how TBYW can improve in achieving its mission

  5. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the achievement of our mission

  6. 10 hours/week flexible, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Community Kitchen Coordinator:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Manage the schedule of the community dinner cooks

  2. Supervising the cooks in the kitchen

  3. Making sure that a nice meal is prepared evry wednesday

  4. Promote the wednesday cooking session

  5. Keep up a food blog on our website

  6. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the Community dinners

  7. Be available Wednesdays from 14:00 – 20:30 as well as 4 additional hours at flexible times during the week

Market Activist Coordinator:

  1. Select food to be handed out

  2. Organise and host the weekly markets

  3. Prepare tasters for visitors

  4. Communicate TBYW’s cause to the visitors

  5. Coordinate and communicate with a team of volunteers

  6. Communicate about markets with social media coordinator

  7. Communicate with municipality about event permits

  8. Reflect on every session and improve concept accordingly

  9. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the Community dinners

  10. Be available Tuesdays from 15:30 – 18:30 and Saturdays daytime, as well as participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Public Relations & Social Media Coordinator:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Designing a campaign strategy considering the individual functionalities of each social media outlet

  2. Set-up accounts of new social media accounts and revise those existing

  3. Attend and report on our activities

  4. Create engaging content, including snapshots, engaging short text, captivating tweets and the list goes on

  5. Maintain all social media accounts on a daily basis

  6. Reflect and adjust strategy according to our publications

  7. Communicate with other team members and coordinate their contributions to social media channels

  8. Keep our website up to date

  9. Send out press releases on an ad-hoc basis

  10. Create a monthly newsletter

  11. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our media presence

  12. 10 hours/week flexible, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Host for Community Dinner:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Coordinate hosting/ serving/ cleaning team during Wednesday community dinners

  2. Planning and organising consciousness-building programmes at the community dinners (e.g. documentary screenings, debates, guest speakers, workshops, quizes)

  3. Ensuring all materials are present

  4. Represent the message of TBYW during the dinners

  5. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our community dinners

  6. Be available on Wednesdays from 16:00 – 22:00 as well as 3 additional hours at flexible times during the week and participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Funding & Acquisition Coordinator:

  1. Research and apply for subsidies

  2. Research and participate in startup funding possibilities

  3. Providing support in the preparation of research funding proposals for submission to different committees

  4. Promote and arrange projects in catering, education and public speaking

  5. Scheduling of ad hoc event calendar

  6. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and our financial sustainability

  7. Experience in the position would be appreciated but not required

  8. This internship position is a non-paid one

  9. 10 hours flexible, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

  10. The intern will be working in a fully diversified working environment and collaborating with other intern.

Finance & Bar Coordinator:

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Coordinate the bar and goodie sales during the Wednesday Community Dinners

  2. Keep detailed accounts of the donations and sales during the Community Dinners

  3. Keep accounts of the beverage stock at the bar

  4. Any other activity that you think will help TBYW and the happiness of the thirsty

  5. Available from 17:00 – 22:00 as well as 3 additional hours at flexible times during the week and participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)

Financial Accountant: 

VACANCY IS CLOSED FOR SPRING 2017

  1. Prepare quarterly accounting statements

  2. Administer payment of bills, invoices and staff and volunteer expense claims

  3. Keep track of monetary donations

  4. Develop and administer financial procedures relating to development initiatives and activities

  5. Manage organizational cash flow

  6. Update  and  implement  all  necessary  business  policies  and  accounting  practices

  7. Improve  the finance department’s policy and procedure

  8. Ensure quality control measures are in place and practices are monitored and records kept

  9. The financial accountant will be working closely with the Core Team, and in particular with the Funding & Acquisition intern and the Finance & Bar intern

  10. Working experience or studies in accountancy or business administration is a must

  11. The internship position will be held for 1 year

  12. This internship position is a non-paid one

  13. 10 hours/week at flexible times, except for participation in a weekly team meeting (times TBC)
