Taste Before You Waste at the Billie Eilish Concert!
We are honored to be a part of the Changemaker Initiative! Thanks to @billieeilish and her fans, we joined an incredible group of nonprofit organizations across Europe helping to distribute plant-based meals and produce to those in need, along with educational materials provided by Support+Feed. Through our weekly Wasteless Wednesdays we rescue food that would otherwise be wasted and use it to cook a delicious dinner! This year we also got to share information about our organization at Billie's concert at the Ziggo Dome and our volunteers got to watch her live performance!
TBYW was at the Community Market Day! During this festival at the Marineterrerin in Amsterdam, you can discover how local initiatives and projects are working to build a stronger and local economy for and by Amsterdammers! This year TBYW also had a stall, and we were able to showcase our work and to be inspired by the many other organizations and initiatives who are working towards a more just economy for our community.

Thats right, Taste Before You Waste was at the Green Market along with some tasty Bananabread, soap made using orange peels, hot sauces and herbal salts.
Buurtcamping Marineterrein
A neighbourhood camping weekend at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam? Sign us up! TBYW was exited to have been able to join Buurtcamping at Marineterrein this year. From making art with paints made from food waste, to delicious snacks that would otherwise have gone to waste, the vibes were good as waste turns into taste.
Funky Vegan Festival
The Funky Vegan Festival is a paradise for everyone interested in vegan food, sustainbility and an intentional lifestyle. This festival celebrates the diversity and creativity of vegan cuisine, offering a wide range of dishes, from hearty plant-based burgers and spicy curries to creamy vegan cakes and healthy smoothie bowls. Visitors can not only enjoy the food but also participate in workshops on vegan cooking, sustainability, and animal-friendly alternatives. TBYW was exited to have a stall to showcase our passion for food and to be inspired by all the other initiatives at the festival!
